Lavender Iced Coffee

  • 4 Tbs Cream or half & half
  • 2 Tbs Lavender buds (food grade)
  • 1 Tbs Honey
  • 1 Cup Coffee with ice

Makes 2 servings

Add cream and lavender to small saucepan and let infuse over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Stir often to keep from burning, but take care not to crush lavender buds, as this will give a bitter taste. Strain cream and stir in honey. Add desired amount to your coffee (recommended 1-2 Tbs) and shake with ice.

You can also use this recipe for other herbs and flavors. I've also used rose, vanilla and red clover.
