- 1 Tbs roasted dandelion root (how to roast roots)
- 1 Tbs roasted chicory root
- 1 Tbs coffee beans (optional, leave out for decaf)
- 1 Cup water
- 1 Cup milk
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbs rose petals
- 1 Tbs meadow sweet
- 1/2 Tbs red clover
- 1 Tbs honey
Make a decoction of the roots and coffee beans by adding to a small saucepan with the water and bringing to a simmer over low heat.
Cover with lid and let simmer for 15 minutes. Strain carefully through a coffee filter, then rinse pan to reuse for the next step.
Pour the root decoction, milk and vanilla into the pot and warm on low heat. Add the herbs and let infuse for 10 minutes.
Then strain out the herbs, stir in honey and enjoy! 🍯🌸🌻🌿
