A relaxing bath that softens skin! 🌸🛁
To make about 13 oz, combine in a jar:
- 1 Cup powdered milk
- 1/4 Cup Epsom salt
- 1/4 Cup sea salt
- 2 Tbs baking soda
- 1/4 Cup lavender buds slightly ground
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
Run a hot bath and once full add 1 to 3 tablespoons to water and let dissolve.
Use to bring calm and comfort when anxious or depressed, in a hot foot bath when suffering a headache to draw tension and heat from the head, or right before bed to aid in sleep and peaceful dreams.
Lavender has cleansing qualities both for physical and mental ailments, as an anti-septic and anti bacterial herb for treating wounds and clearing skin, and as a sedative and nervine for calming anxiety and relieving sadness and nightmares.
This is also why in folklore lavender is associated with banishing negativity, cleansing the spirit and creating a peaceful atmosphere. Such a lovely plant!
