DIY Perfume from Fresh Flowers

Making your own perfume is is easy! Here's a simple recipe to make your own diy perfume from fresh flowers.

  • 2 Cups fresh flowers
  • 4 Cups distilled water
  • 2 Tbs vegetable glycerin
  • 4 Tbs odorless vodka

Gather your flowers in the morning, before the sun dries away the oils. Cut away any stems or leaves, and add only the blossoms along with the water to a glass bowl. Cover and let infuse overnight, then strain away buds in the morning. Pour the floral water into a small sauce pan and let simmer on medium high heat until nearly all evaporated (leave about 5 Tbs of water). Pour into a small, dark colored glass bottle and stir in the vegetable glycerin and vodka. The vodka will keep your perfume from spoiling while the glycerin will help the scent stick to your skin. Let sit for 3-4 days, and then drop into small perfume roller bottles. Enjoy your new perfume! πŸ’œ

Try experimenting with different types of flowers to create your own custom scent! 🌸🌿🌻
