An easy and long lasting way to use these herbs for aromatherapy is making a sleep jar. To use, simply remove the cork and breath in the scent before sleeping. What you need:

  • 1 Cup sea salt (this holds the essential oil)
  • 5-10 Drops of lavender essential oil
  • 3 Drops of rosemary essential oil
  • 10 Drops purple or blue soap dye (optional)
  • Small jar with cork

Mix all ingredients together in a glass bowl, then pour into jar and cork. Keep on your bedside table. 🌸

Making Lavender Milk

Lavender milk is both relaxing and delicious. You can also get creative and add other calming herbs as desired. How to make:

  • 1 Cup milk or non dairy substitute
  • 3 Tbs lavender buds
  • 1 Tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbs honey

Heat milk and lavender on low in small saucepan for 8-10 minutes. Stir to keep from burning, but don't crush the lavender buds. After brewing time, strain out lavender and stir in vanilla and honey. Once dissolved, pour into mug and enjoy. πŸŒ™
